Have you ever taken the time to ask yourself, who is the only true American? Long ago the American Indian roamed this land, killing only to eat, planting their own food, and living in they're own world of spirits. The white men came from afar and stripped them of the land, their women and their pride. They were herded like cattle across this land.
White men killed the animals, some of whom were sacred to these Indians, raped and sometimes even killed the wives and mothers, and tortured the men. I have spent many hours reading and realizing that the only true American has been treated so unfairly. We could learn so much from them if we could only open our hearts to listen to their cries. They have just begun to be repaid by the very breed of people that took from them.We can never repaid them fully for the cruelty they had to bear, as the wilderness they once loved , is gone. They streams are polluted, their buffalo have been killed, and where they use to roam, now stands large cities and factories. Now we must ask ourselves, what is left for our children's children. Will it disappear for them also? Is true nature really being taken away from us slowly? I have to ask myself these questions and will we feel betrayed?
Please check out some of my sites and read with an open heart. And I welcome any comments, good or bad.
